BRUSSELS, BE—Late in 2011, M. Olivier Duchange purchased the intellectual assets of Henri Robert Textiles, a Belgian converter that went bankrupt.

In its latest victory against copyright infringement, Prestigious Textiles has been awarded substantial damages and costs in a case brought against Pangrim Co Ltd of Korea.

KONTICH, BE—Bru Textiles, a Belgium based converter and distributor has launched an outdoor fabrics collection for the first time called ‘UV –PRO’ woven in 100 percent solution dyed acrylic yarn.

Bru executives were not available for comment. As a company policy, they do not usually comment on any press reports and prefer to market their products under the radar.

Waregem, BE -- On September 1, Ragolle NV here has purchased the design archives and intellectual assets of ITM, a jacquard weaver in Kruishoutem, Belgium owned by Bernard Clarysse.

The purchase price was not disclosed. It will place Ragolle in the contract market for the first time. The company ITM was a part of the group Clarysse as was ETROTEX, another Belgian mill that was recently closed.
